The purpose of this section is to keep the club membership informed regarding “the Irish Language and Naomh Barróg CLG”

Is seirbhís tacaíochta é FSMD curtha ar fáil ag Glór na nGael agus Cumann Lúthchleas Gael do chlubanna CLG ar mian leo an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn ina bpobal. Tá Naomh Barróg cláraithe anois le FSMD agus beimid ag obair ar thrí phríomaidhm:

1. An Ghaeilge a fheiceáill
Méadóidh sé seo úsáid comharthaíochta Gaeilge ag an gclub agus úsáid na Gaeilge ar ardáin meán sóisialta an chlub

2.An Ghaeilge a chloisteáil:
Spreagfar cainteoirí Gaeilge sa chlub an teanga a úsáid sa chlub

3. An Ghaeilge a úsaid
Tacóidh an club le tionscnaimh chun foghlaim agus úsáid na teanga a spreagadh

FSMD is a support service provided by Glór na nGael and the Gaelic Athletic Association to GAA clubs wishing to further the Irish Language in their community.Naomh Barróg has now registered with FSMD and will be pursing the promotion of the Irish Language in three main ways

1.Increase the Visibility of Irish
This will increase the use of Irish language signage at the club and Irish Language use on the club’s social media platforms

2.Increase the Audibility of Irish:
Irish language speakers in the club will be encouraged to use the language in the club

3.Increase the Use of Irish
The club will support initiatives to encourage the learning and use of the language
