Movie nights at Naomh Barróg Launch night
“The Commitments” Nov 11th at 7.30pm in bar
As part of our 50th Anniversary, Naomh Barróg is establishing a series of movie nights in the club bar. The primary objective is to provide a social outlet and amenity to club members and friends but also to foster a curiosity about films. The intention is to screen a film once a month, either on a Monday or Tuesday night (when the bar is closed). The first film with be “The Commitments” and will be screened on Monday 11th November at 7.30pm.
It is envisaged that Movie nights will operate as follows
• Once a month in the bar (on a non-opening night) or in the Juvenile room. This will be an adult only night.
• No entrance fee for the film.
• Tea and coffee will be available and donations from this will be used against our costs.
• Access is restricted to those over 18.
• Occasional screenings to cater specifically for children (during the day) and Irish language films.
• Details of movies and dates of screenings will be posted on the club social media platforms.
