Minor Girls

At the end of 2019, the 2003/04 girls were only able to field for our last few u16 games with significant support from the age group below. It was clear that going into 2020, we would not have numbers to move into a minor setup on our own.

The aim is to bring as many of the girls as possible through to adult football over the next few years.

In discussions with St Monica’s, it became clear that they were in a similar situation. It was agreed to set up a combined minor team.

Some of the girls already knew each other from school, and in general the teams have knitted together very well.
