Job Title: Grounds & Facilities Coordinator
Location: Naomh Barróg GAA Club
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 4pm (Flexible hours as required for events)
Role Overview
Naomh Barróg GAA Club is seeking a dependable, hands-on Grounds & Facilities Coordinator to manage daytime operations, oversee ground maintenance, and act as the primary point of contact for members, visiting schools, and external groups using our facilities.
Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Daily Duties: Supervise staff and assign daily tasks to ensure smooth, efficient daytime club operations.

Pitch & Grounds Upkeep: Oversee pitch marking, general ground care, and identify day-to-day maintenance needs across the grounds.

Equipment & Inventory Management: Count, check, and order operational equipment; arrange servicing for tractors and club machinery.

Facilities & Event Support: Manage visitor access in and out of the club and assist with setting up facilities for club events and school fixtures.

General Maintenance: Perform basic handyman repairs and practical upkeep duties around the clubhouse and grounds.
Key Experience & Skills Required

Practical Skills: Hands-on experience in basic maintenance, DIY, landscaping, or general trade skills (e.g., carpentry, sheet metal, or general repairs).

People & Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills with a welcoming, problem-solving attitude.

Organisational Ability: Proven experience managing people, prioritising tasks, and demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Knowledge & Interest: Keen interest or background in pitch care and facility upkeep.

Requirements: Full, clean driving license.
