Irish Language classes for adult beginners

Naomh Barróg and KLEAR relaunch Irish Language classes for adult beginners Naomh Barróg GAA club in conjunction with KLEAR has relaunched its Irish Language course for Adults. It is pitched at beginners/returners and is intended as an aid to parents when helping with Irish language homework. It takes place on Monday mornings and runs until Christmas. It is intended that more classes will be scheduled in 2026.

Diamuid McHugh chairman of Naomh Barróg commented “this type of project is consistent with our commitment to the Irish language and our desire to reach into the community. We are very proud of our involvement in it.”

Naomh Barróg is a GAA club based in Kilbarrack in Dublin. *Barróg don Ghaeilge is Naomh Barróg’s Irish language programme. It runs a monthly Pop Up Gaeltacht on the first Thursday of every month in the clubhouse at Naomh Barróg.

KLEAR is a community-based adult education centre at Swansnest Road Kilbarrack and is funded by the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB). Theses classes have been fully funded by CDETB Adult Education service.
