On a beautiful Sunday in August 2018, many young members in our Club representing Naomh Barróg, attended, Ireland World Meeting of Families, 21-26 August 2018 in Croke Park.
It was a beautiful and memorable occasion, for reflection, music, joy, friendship and gratitude. It was a day we enjoyed and will always remember.
We heard the sad news, that Pope Francis had died unexpectedly after celebrating the feast of Easter and showing his solidarity and respect for the poor, the marginalised and remembering the horrific plight of the people of Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and other war torn areas throughout our world and praying for peace and the end of war.
Thank you Pope Francis.
