Our U16 Hurlers had a great victory away to St Brigid’s at Russell Park in their B Championship Semi-Final. A tense match with little flow was all square at half time at 0-6 to 0-6.
We hit the front with 10 mins to go and held out for the win – even through 6/7 minutes of added time – to claim the victory by a low score of 0-12 to 0-10. Ben Flanagan was excellent from placed balls with a tally of 0-10 (9 frees and a 65) and crucial scores from play from Padraig Brady & Matthew Clarke set us up for a final on Saturday 16th Nov. vs Ballinteer SJ with the venue to be confirmed.
Thanks to a huge travelling support that helped the lads over the line.
