Our Senior Hurling Team were presented with the AHL 2 trophy in our Club last night.
Club Chairperson Martin Kiernan was there to host the presentation and say a few words of congratulations to the team and their management.
The trophy for Division 2 is the Jim Butler Trophy.
Jim is a founding member of our Club so it was very special to bring the cup back to the Club.
The trophy was presented to team Captain Nathan Kidd by Jim’s daughter Aishling and granddaughters Emma and Ellen Butler.
It was a great night and was wonderful to see plenty of our young players there in support.
The team would like to thank the Executive and Club members for their continued support throughout and hoping that support continues into the up and coming championship.
