50th Gala Dinner:
Details have been finalised for our 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner and it promises to be an event not to be missed! It will take place in the iconic Hogan Suite in Croke Park. The details of the Gala Dinner are:

Date: Saturday 21st September
Venue: Hogan Suite, Croke Park
Ticket Price: €100

There will be a 3 course meal, Bar extension, Live Music, Special Guest MC on the night and more to be announced……

Barróg’s Got Talent:
As part of the Naomh Barrog 50th Anniversary celebrations, the club are hosting “Barrog’s Got Talent”. How it will work:

– all members welcome to apply
– ⁠the act can be a mentor/parent/family member/friend associated with the team
– ⁠the act enters a heat to qualify for the final.
– ⁠There is a prise of €1000 to go towards winning team funds or designated charity.
– ⁠the heats are on 8th, 15th, 22nd June, with the final being on the 29th June

GAA National Draw:
Massive kudos to all team fundraisers on the GAA National Draw ’24. Collectively we raised in excess of €25,000 which is the highest return to date for the club. All funds raised have been allocated to each team respectively. Furthermore, we received fantastic news of a top prize winner. Congrats to Josh Rooney from the senior hurlers, hope you enjoy your All-Ireland Hurling Final package.

Activities and Sport for Children with Additional Needs:
Commencing on 20th April, we have our Activities and Sports Programme for Children with Special Needs. This will be for children with additional needs to be involved in activities that will be tailored to the childs sensory needs. Players in Dublin U16 & Minor Camogie Teams:
We have 5 girls from our Minor Camogie team who have been representing us on various Dublin panels at U16 and minor level recently. The girls are:
Roisin Nolan, Beth Maguire, Emily Tuite, Ella Walsh and Jodie Doyle
Well done girls. Keep up the great work. You are doing the Club proud!

Player representing Dublin:
Best of luck to Micheál Tierney, representing the Club in the Dublin U20 Hurling team in their match versus Galway tomorrow in O’Connor Park, Offaly. Throw in 2pm.

Mentors Meeting:
The weekly Mentor Meetings take place every Thursday at 9pm in the Juvenile room. If possible, we ask that every team be represented at this meeting.
