50th Anniversary Mural: Artists Wanted
As part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations, Naomh Barróg wishes to commission a commemorative mural on the club property. We would like to hear from club members or friends of the club who have the skills to design and paint an appropriate mural.

Easter Camp Dates Confirmed
The Club’s Easter Camps dates have been confirmed as:

Week 2: 2-5th April

Child Safeguarding Course
There is an Online, Interactive Safeguarding 1 course being held through Zoom on 3rd April. This is a requirement for any parents coaching juvenile teams who have not already completed this course. To register for this, please contact our Childrens Officer on sibealpepper@gmail.com
Coaching Teenage Girls Workshop
Fingal Sport Office are running a Coaching Teenage Girls Workshop aimed at people who coach girls between the age of 12 and 17 years. The workshop will cover the following:
-Drop-out And Engagement in Girls’ Sport and Physical Activity​
-Meeting the Psycho-Social Needs of Girls in Sport​
-Key Considerations for Coaching Girls 12-17 years – Body image & Maturation​
-Preparing for the Challenges of Adolescence in Girls
-Where: Naomh Barróg Gaa Club

Barróg don Ghaeilge- Irish Language classes for Parents/Grandparents
Need help with children’s Irish homework or just want to increase your cúpla focail?
Naomh Barróg in conjunction with KLEAR will be running Irish Language classes for adults who have little or no Irish. It is expected that classes will commence after Easter on Mondays at 9.30am until 11am at KLEAR. We are inviting those interested in attending these classes to contact the Naomh Barróg Irish language Officer (John Carroll) at 0831003931 or john.c.carroll@gmail.com.
The class size is limited to 12.
These classes are free of charge but we will insist that any student who secures a place attends the classes or the place will be reallocated.
*“Barróg don Ghaeilge” is the name of the Naomh Barróg programme for the promotion of the Irish language. These classes are part of the Naomh Barróg 50th anniversary celebrations in 2024.

Scaip an scéal. Beidh Pop Up Gaeltacht Naomh Barróg 23 ar siúl sa bheár i Naomh Barróg ar an Déardaoin 7 Márta 2024 i rith Seachtain na Gaeilge. Ba bhreá linn sibh go léir a fheiceáil ann ó 8pm. Chomh maith le deis a fháil roinnt Gaeilge a chleachtadh beidh seans “deochanna a ordú as Gaeilge” agus platters “Gaeilge Abú” ó Wingman a ithe. (saor in aisce don chéad 20 daoine). Beidh lotto saor in aisce ann agus coinnle mar an duais.
The Naomh Barróg Pop Up Gaeltacht 23 will take place in the bar at Naomh Barróg on Thursday 7th March 2024 as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. We would love to see you all there from 8pm. All levels of Irish are welcome. As well as getting a chance to practice some Irish there will be a chance to order drinks in Irish and eat “Gaeilge Abú” platters from Wingman. There will be a free lotto for attendees with a prize of a club candle.

Naomh Barróg Photo Society
Calling all budding photographers.
The Naomh Barróg Photo Society is now open for membership applications. Our members are mostly retired, aged 50 and over, and include both men and women.
We meet at every Monday and Friday between 11.00am and 01.00 pm in Naomh Barróg GAA club. Our activities include; Photo presentations, Photoshop/Lightroom tutorials, Workshops, Guest speakers/judges, Exhibitions, Monthly competitions and an organised outing every month. Among our membership we have beginners as well as expert photographers, so everyone is welcome. We are also affiliated to the Irish Photographic Federation. (IPF). We are proud that among our membership there are several members who have achieved distinctions/awards from the (IPF) and various international photographic institutions.
